BENVENUTO: THE WELCOME

Our official welcome to Capri.

The first look of the wedding week — and one of my absolute favourites — was the gown I wore to our welcome drinks in Capri. This was the first of many outfits I curated in collaboration with one of my closest friends and international stylist, Marina Didovich. It meant so much to work together on something so personal during one of the most emotional and unforgettable times in my life.

The look was a hand-crafted silver gown custom-designed by J’Aton — a true work of art. We styled it with my beautiful Bvlgari pieces, silver Amina Muaddi wedges, and a silver mini Jimmy Choo Bon Bon bucket.

Given that the welcome drinks were held in the heart of Capri’s bustling and iconic piazza, I initially hesitated over choosing something so sexy and dramatic. But the moment I slipped it on, I knew it had to be my “you only live once” moment — and it was so worth it.

Welcoming our nearest and dearest to our favourite island in the world, with cocktails, cigars, and the soft glow of the most beautiful sunset, was something we’ll never forget. Theo and I had spent three weeks apart leading up to the wedding while I was travelling for work, and seeing him again for the first time in Capri made everything feel even more special and surreal.

The true highlight of the night was a performance by Scialapopolo, a traditional Italian band who brought all the energy and romance of Italy with every song. They played our favourite classics and had everyone dancing in the streets — it completely set the tone for the rest of the week and took the excitement to a whole new level.
