It’s hard to put into words just how special this day was — a beautiful blend of rest, reflection, and one final, unforgettable celebration with the people we love most.
We hosted it at one of our all-time favourite places in the world — La Fontelina in Capri. Hiring the entire venue and beach exclusively for the day felt surreal. The setting alone is iconic, but to have it entirely to ourselves, filled with all our loved ones, was something else entirely.
We welcomed all 120 of our guests for a long family-style lunch and a collective recovery… which, as expected, quickly turned into another celebration. The dress code was white and ivory, and the vision it created — set against La Fontelina’s signature white and blue umbrellas — was just magic.
For my recovery day look, Monday was non-negotiable. I wore a custom white Montego maxi dress made specifically for the event, layered over my go-to bikini: the white Palma top and bottom. The Montego in this shade ended up being so highly requested following the recovery day that we eventually began to sell it. For lunch, I changed into a beautiful sleeveless Missoni dress — light, elegant, and perfect for the setting.
This day had a different energy to the reception. Still beautiful and considered, but more relaxed — more us. We wanted the atmosphere to feel like our usual holidays in Capri: barefoot, sun-kissed, effortless. Family-style food was a must (the vongole was unforgettable), and we even reused the florals from our reception tablescapes, which felt really special — it was so nice to see them enjoyed all over again.
Our photographers captured the day so beautifully. The photos honestly feel like art — some of them now hang in our beach house and transport us back instantly. What started as a mellow afternoon — spritz in hand, toes in the water — quickly built in energy as our DJ and saxophonist began to play. Everyone came back to life, and before we knew it, we were dancing once again under the Capri sun.
The perfect close to the most magical weekend of our lives.
